Is your mind frequently on overdrive with anxious thoughts? Are you taking care of everyone else but neglecting yourself? Do you long for a day when you can relax and feel fully present?
Many of us are doing the best we can to fulfill our daily obligations, take care of our families, and silence the thoughts and worries that keep us awake at night. We may long for a life that feels more inspired but lack the time or energy or know how to make this happen. We may dismiss the idea of self care as frivolous or unnecessary or impossible. And yet we long for love, connection, purpose, and more presence with ourselves and our loved ones.
Therapy can help you to create meaningful changes in your life. Therapy involves recognizing and changing thought patterns that do not serve us, learning how to value and care for ourselves, understanding patterns in our relationships, and gaining insight about how our early life experiences impact us in adulthood.
"The best way to take care of the future is to take care of the present moment.” Thich Nhat Hanh
